Sherpa Robot and Sherpa Assistant#
Sherpa Robot and Sherpa Assistant work together. Sherpa Robot does not have its own interface and operates through the Sherpa Assistant interface.
These components work as follows:
- Sherpa Robot takes input from software robot scripts and performs the specified actions; it is responsible for executing the software robot script created in Sherpa Designer.
- Sherpa Assistant is an agent program that allows you to view the list of robots and manage them (start, schedule script execution).
Sherpa Assistant provides the following capabilities:
- Configuration of hotkeys for software robots;
- Activation of the license key for Sherpa RPA platform products;
- Configuration of log saving and deletion parameters and access to saved robot logs;
- Configuration and connection of software robots to Sherpa Orchestrator;
- Management of proxy settings;
- Configuration of script execution parameters;
- Configuration of remote client operation parameters;
- Configuration of remote debugging parameters for software robots and its launch;
- Configuration of connections to services such as Yandex Cloud, Anti Captcha, OpenAI, OCRSpace, Sherpa AI Server, Sber GigaChat, DaData;
- Configuration of selectors.
