Check for Element Presence#

Checks for the presence of a specified element. If the element is found, the script execution will continue through the "Yes" exit; otherwise, it will continue through the "No" exit.

Connection Link

[Link] SAP connection object.

The variable name in this property must match the variable name in the "Connection Link" property of the "Create Connection" or "Join" blocks from the SAP group.

Element ID

[Text] Identifier of the element. The value must be written according to SAP GUI rules.

For example: "/app/con[0]/ses[0]/wnd[0]/tbar[0]/btn[15]"

Timeout[Number] The maximum timeout for the specified element in seconds.
Result[Boolean] The result of the element check. If the element is found, the value will be $true; otherwise, $false.
Error Handling Level

Select the error handling level. Possible values:

  • "Default" - default;
  • "Ignore" - errors are ignored;
  • "Handle" - errors are handled.

If "Default" is selected, the value from the "Start" block of this diagram will be used.

Exit Direction

Select the exit direction from the block in case of an error.

Possible values:

  • "Default" - default;
  • "Right" - to the right;
  • "Bottom" - down.

This property allows you to determine the exit direction in case of errors for blocks that do not contain the "If Error" connector (for example, the "Condition" block).

If "Default" is selected, the value from the "Start" block of this diagram will be used.

Message Level

Select the message level that the blocks will output during operation.

Possible values:

  • "Default" - default;
  • "Release" - output is disabled;
  • "Debug" - main information output;
  • "Detailed" - detailed information output.

If "Default" is selected, the value from the "Start" block of this diagram will be used.

Error Text[Text] Returns detailed information about the error in case of incorrect block execution.
