Version 5.8.4#

A new release of Sherpa Orchestrator has been released: Version 5.8.4.

  1. Added support for HashiCorp Vault as a secure storage where the system can store Robot passwords and Credentials instead of storing them in the main Database.
  2. An optional container with HashiCorp Vault Community Edition version 1.21.4 is included, allowing the client to use the supplied container or connect Sherpa Orchestrator to their own corporate Vault.
  3. Commands have been added to transfer passwords from the Database to HashiCorp Vault and back to the Database.
  4. When creating and updating Robots and Credentials, the system uses HashiCorp Vault, and in its absence, automatically applies a fallback scenario.
  5. Instructions for running Sherpa Orchestrator with the connected HashiCorp Vault service have been updated.
  6. A separate document with step-by-step setup, launch, and verification of HashiCorp Vault has been added.
