Get Text from Position#

Gets text from the specified position in the terminal.

Connection Link[Link] Connection object to the terminal. The variable name in this property must match the variable name in the "Connection Link" property of the "Connect to Session" block from the Terminals group.
Column[Number] X position of the cursor in the terminal. Numbering starts from 1.
Row[Number] Y position of the cursor in the terminal. Numbering starts from 1.
Text Length

[Number] The number of characters to retrieve from the terminal starting from the specified cursor position.

If the value is left empty or set to zero, the text will be taken until the end of the line.

Delay Before[Number] Delay in milliseconds before executing the block.
Delay After[Number] Delay in milliseconds after executing the block.
Timeout[Number] Timeout for the operation execution in seconds.
Result[Text] Text retrieved from the terminal.
Error Handling Level

Select the error handling level. Possible values:

  • "Default" - default;
  • "Ignore" - errors are ignored;
  • "Handle" - errors are handled.

If "Default" is selected, the value from the "Start" block of this diagram will be used.

Message Level

Select the message level that blocks will output during operation. Possible values:

  • "Default" - default;
  • "Release" - output is disabled;
  • "Debug" - main information output;
  • "Detailed" - detailed information output.

If "Default" is selected, the value from the "Start" block of this diagram will be used.

Error Text[Text] Returns detailed information about the error in case of incorrect block execution.
